Guy bought the original early 19th century, country model pair of chairs in Gothic style from Colefax and Fowler. They were reproduced to create a set of 24 for a house in Oxfordshire. The chairs could be scattered throughout reception rooms or brought together in the dining room for a big party.
The versatility and beautiful proportions of the Carver make it perfect for dining rooms and with its generous scale, this chair works well for occasional use in halls, reception rooms and bedrooms.
